Summary: As if skeletons aren't discomforting enough, even parts of them come off as bad omens. Here we have not only a magic skull, but one belonging to one of history's remembered degenerates.

History: Dug up by grave robbers, the skull of the Marquis de Sade was corrupted by the evils of its original bearer, and would have anyone who owned it killed in one way or another. How? It's pretty good with illusions, for one thing.

Final Fate: Everyone who owns the skull winds up dead due to the visions they are given by it. Now it remains on a lonely table in a dead house with a dead collector.

Powers/Abilities: The skull can adle one's mind into seeing eerie and terrifying visions that encourage suicide.

Weakness: None.

Scariness Factor: 4.5-No one can seem to touch this blighted bone-head. So therefore, if you start seeing things and are unknowingly knocking on death's door, chances are the skull is nearby.

Trivia: -Marquis de Sade is the reason you have the word "sadist" in the dictionary. An author and aristocrat, Marquis reveled in the philosophy of unrestrained sex and violence, was in a laundry’s list of asylums for his actions and claims, and to this day people still debate on whether he was an insightful rebel or an unscrupulous pervert.

-This film was produced not by Hammer, but by Amicus Productions, their sort-of-rival. This was their attempt to look better than them, utilizing some of their rival's signature actors to boot.
